NOT AN OFFICIAL MINECRAFT PRODUCT. NOT APPROVED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH MOJANG OR MICROSOFT.
2.1 What It Covers. This Addendum adds to the Player Terms of Service (the "Player Terms") and the Player Privacy Policy for Crowded Kingdoms for Minecraft: the shared world that Crowded Kingdom Studios, Inc. ("CK," "we," "us," or "our") runs, and that you join with the Crowded Kingdoms mod for Minecraft: Java Edition (the "World"). Where this Addendum conflicts with the Player Terms or the Player Privacy Policy about the World, this Addendum governs. Words the Player Terms define mean the same here.
2.2 Your Minecraft. You need your own copy of Minecraft: Java Edition. Minecraft's own license terms and Microsoft's terms continue to govern Minecraft itself. Mojang and Microsoft are not responsible for the World, and CK is not responsible for Minecraft.
2.3 Accepting. Before you first play, the mod shows you the Player Terms, the Player Privacy Policy and this Addendum, and records your acceptance in the game. If we change any of them in a way you need to accept, the mod asks you again.
3.1 Your Account. You play in the World with your Crowded Kingdoms account or, where the mod offers it, with your Minecraft account instead. With a Crowded Kingdoms account, the Player Terms and the Player Privacy Policy describe what we collect.
3.2 Signing In with Minecraft. When you sign in with your Minecraft account, the mod asks Minecraft's own sign-in service to confirm that you own the account, and our servers check that confirmation with the same service. We never see your Microsoft account password, and you don't need a Crowded Kingdoms email address or password: CK signs you in to the World itself, as a player of CK's own organization. When we check your sign-in, we receive your Minecraft username and account ID. We keep a keyed hash of your account ID rather than the ID itself: a code made from the ID with a secret key only CK holds, which lets us recognize you when you come back but cannot be turned back into your ID.
3.3 Age and Country. When you first sign up or sign in, the mod asks for your date of birth and your country. The Player Terms' rules apply (Player Terms Sections 1.4 to 1.9): you must be at least 13, or your country's minimum age if that is higher, and in a country where CK offers the Services. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has agreed. We keep only the year and month of your birth.
4.1 The Safety Log. The World admits players under 18, so it keeps a safety log (Player Terms Section 4.6): your movement, your actions, the text you send and your voice are recorded and kept for 7 days. Video isn't recorded. Before your voice is first recorded, the mod tells you, and it shows an indicator while recording is on.
4.2 Voice and Video. Voice and video in the World follow Player Terms Section 4.9: off for players under 18 until a parent or guardian consents through Kids Web Services, and then with contacts only. Your camera stays off until you turn it on, and your microphone opens only when you hold a talk key or choose voice activation.
4.3 Blocking and Reporting. Use the mod to block or report a player. Blocking a player in the World also stops their mail and friend requests reaching you.
4.4 Automated Agents. You may run automated agents in the World under Player Terms Section 2.4 and CK's agent policies. An agent must be identifiable as an agent, and you are responsible for what it does.
5.1 No Real-World Value. The World's currency, crowns, is earned only by playing. You cannot buy crowns, and neither crowns nor items in the World may be sold, bought, or exchanged for real money or anything of real-world value, in the game or outside it. For the World, this replaces the parts of Player Terms Sections 6.3 and 6.9 that let you sell items to other players, so that the World stays within Minecraft's terms.
5.2 Nothing for Sale. Nothing in the World is sold to players, and the player wallet (Player Terms Section 6.8) is not used in it.
5.3 Your Builds. What you build in the World stays in it and is recorded with who placed it and when, so that our moderators can trace and undo harmful builds. When you leave the World or ask us to delete your data, your builds stay under an identifier that no longer leads to you (Player Terms Section 5.8).
6.1 What the World Keeps. Besides what the Player Privacy Policy describes, the World keeps your progress on its servers on Crowded Kingdoms: your crowns, items, quests, friends, party and guild memberships, mail and settings.
6.2 Deleting Your Data. To delete what the World holds about you, write to hello@crowdedkingdoms.com. We may ask you to sign in with your Minecraft account to show that it is yours. We then erase your data as Player Terms Section 3.3 describes.
