This Privacy Policy describes how Crowded Kingdom Studios, Inc. ("CK," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information collected through crowdedkingdoms.com (the "Site"). It does not cover data handled through the CK Spatial Fabric API, which is governed by Section 6 of the CK Spatial Fabric API Terms of Service, or data handled through CK games, Overworld, or the CK SDK, which are governed by their own respective terms (Game Terms of Service, Overworld Privacy Policy, SDK Developer Terms).
2.1 Information You Provide. If you contact us — for example, by emailing hello@crowdedkingdoms.com — we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect standard technical information, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited, through standard web server logs.
2.3 Third-Party Resources. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts and embeds a video hosted on YouTube (operated by Google) using YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode. Loading these resources causes your browser to make requests directly to Google's servers, which may involve transmission of your IP address, and, if you play the embedded video, additional information collected by YouTube. Google's handling of this information is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not this one.
2.4 Cookies and Analytics. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and performance monitoring:
We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising or to build advertising profiles.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, and blocking these cookies does not prevent you from using the Site. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
2.5 No Sale of Personal Information. CK does not sell or share personal information collected through the Site for cross-context behavioral advertising, and has not done so in the preceding twelve (12) months.
We use the information described above to: (a) respond to inquiries; (b) operate, maintain, and secure the Site; (c) understand aggregate Site usage; and (d) comply with applicable legal obligations.
We share information with service providers who help us operate the Site, such as hosting, email, analytics, and performance-monitoring providers, acting on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information.
CK is a U.S. company and processes Site data on U.S.-based infrastructure. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
We retain information collected through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by applicable law.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information, including rights under frameworks such as the GDPR and CCPA. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@crowdedkingdoms.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it.
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information collected through the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated Effective Date at the top of this Policy.
